The experience has made me even more determined to take part in the AI boom. I feel excited, but also humble, about learning how to discover real market needs and solve them effectively with AI—or whatever tools work best. More importantly, it reminds me that I must build my own business.

Inspired by Alex West and Tiny Projects, I’m shifting to a zero-friction, write-in-public model:

1. Daily Logs: Short, unpolished everyday updates on what I’m learning, AI agent experiments, code commits, and indie maker thoughts.
2. Projects Showcase: Building and launching small AI tools and software products in the open.
3. No Overhead: Zero tags, zero complex categories. Just authentic building and writing.

The essence of Personal Mastery is the continuous generation and maintenance of what he called “creative tension”.

In plain words, we must have goals, challenges, and continue to push ourselves forward. To clarify what is truly important, focus and refocus the goal vision as it is always in the mind, so that it enters the subconscious mind to automatically guide action.

There is a broader and deeper ambition and mission behind the vision, which supports perseverance in the face of difficulties and obstacles.

At the same time, we also face and see the objective reality, and the GAP between the two is inconsistent, as the power source to push ourselves forward (creative tension).

Be careful to distinguish between creative tension and emotional tension, to avoid the latter eroding the vision and leading to mediocrity. Also beware of structural conflict, the perception of powerlessness or unworthiness.

So, in a nutshell, it’s two things: commitment to vision + commitment to truth.

Transcendence, mastery, refers to a skillful and attained mastery, which is followed by continuous and lifelong cultivation.

Inspired by this, I began to face reality, examine reality, including the past, present and future reality, and clarify the context of cause and effect. I saw that for a long time, I was always running away from my heart, from the really difficult but valuable things, without caring for the vision, there were always some bad habits to interrupt myself, or immerse myself in the so-called situation.

I can confirm that this is really something I enjoy, because programming involves two main characteristics: determinism and creativity.

Some days are basically programmed all day, only in this way, can break through the card points that have been repeated before.

In the middle of many ambiguous, similar and no clear understanding of the concept, at any time to check GPT and Wenxin dialogue, are basically clear.

I felt like I was finally getting in the door and starting to see things from a developer’s perspective.

It’s a little misshape of doing things as a tech startup. After all, you don’t have a feasible strategy, nor ability to build a thriving and promising business.

I believe it will boost my writing and the related work from a brand new start.

Besides, I devote my whole enthusiasm into the customization work, during which without awareness of time past by, nearly no eat, sleep, bathroom, just do the code and fix coming from my mind one by one, seemingly never bored with it.

That reassures me that I love doing coding, designing and creating staff. The indie hacker work suspended for the last few months. I can’t give it up. Now it’s time to restart.

I’ve restarted my learning by conducting real projects. From an article I try to learn how to crawl SEC 10-K files through its API by using python. Wish a good start.

For me, I still hadn’t defeated the monster inside of myself. It continued to destroy myself by wasting bulk of time. Sleeping late, procrastinating what really needed to do, playing computer games… were bad habits that still existed.

I will fight for my truly freedom and inner peace from now on. Writing is a weapon. I will continue writing about my progress and thoughts on indie hacker and related staff in this place.

It’s a shame to be weak and defeated if you have already known and experienced what is the RIGHT way.

I have ambivalent feeling on it, and turn a little away from it.

Now it may be the time to go back. It’s still a conduct that needs my endeavor to survive.

Till now, I may understand it more deeply. It’s an attitude, behavior and choice from the bottom of the heart, especially when the days are getting hard and difficult.

In such case, it would be too bad and stupid that indulging one’s inner emotion as an escape.

The bottom line is strict: don’t stop doing stuff and going forward no matter how difficult it is or how unwilling you are. Bon’t break your own rule. Just keep moving.

That is what I see “relentless”.
